DESCRIPTION:Bricolage Art Collective is hosting a reception for artist Teri Moore’s work on January 21st!\nABOUT TERI:I have been an active exhibiting artist for thirty years. I learned creative confidence from very valuable time living in Paducah Kentucky. For the last ten years\, however\, life circumstances side-railed the time I was able to dedicate to my art. Now\, I am back ontrack\, telling stories through handmade artifacts that matter to me\, and touch those who see them.\nI have spent portions of the last twelve years creating this body of work\, immersing myself in it for the last year in order to create a cohesive story. I realized that the only way to bring this story together was to tell it in the truest way I could. I made what I know\, and the magic of this connection shows.\nThis work is strong\, thoughtful\, and artfully connects the life of that little girl on the farm wearing the red converse sneakers and pigtails with the grown woman proud of who she has become and able to tell this story
