Partners in Paducah with CFSB Bank

Paducah Main Street is continuing its Partners in Paducah series with CFSB. As a 2026 Platinum Sponsor, CFSB supports and believes in Paducah Main Street’s mission of growing, preserving, and celebrating Historic Downtown Paducah.

We sat down with Angela Meyer, McCracken County Market President, and Jennifer McIntosh, Business Development, to learn more about CFSB’s history, its connection to Paducah, and why investing in downtown matters.

Established in 1890 with just 14 members, CFSB has grown into a trusted community financial institution serving communities across western Kentucky. While the bank first established a presence in Paducah and McCracken County in 2004, its commitment to the area continues to grow. In fact, CFSB is proud to announce the addition of two new locations in McCracken County, further expanding its ability to serve local families and businesses.

For Jennifer McIntosh, supporting Paducah Main Street is a natural extension of CFSB’s commitment to community. “It is such an exciting time in downtown Paducah,” Jennifer shared. “Seeing the growth of and connection to downtown small businesses really connects to the heart of what we do at CFSB. It’s about community and connection, and such an opportunity to shine a light on Paducah—the place we love.”

Downtown Paducah continues to experience significant momentum, from new businesses opening their doors to successful community events and major development projects. Partnerships like the one between CFSB and Paducah Main Street help ensure that momentum continues.

When asked what a partnership like this means for Downtown Paducah, Jennifer emphasized the power of collaboration. “Seeing organizations come together for a common good for our community—that momentum is bringing conversations to the table,” she said.

For both Jennifer and Angela, Downtown Paducah’s appeal goes beyond economic growth. It is the sense of place and community that makes it special.“It’s a friendly environment,” Jennifer said. “It’s a place you want to pause and linger.”

Looking ahead, Angela is excited about what the future holds for Downtown Paducah. “I believe downtown is going to keep growing as the heart of the Paducah,” Angela shared. “It’s going to be elevated from where it is now and become the place to be and where memories are being made.”

Paducah Main Street director, Blaine McDonald, emphasized the importance of community partners investing in Downtown Paducah, whether they are located downtown or elsewhere in the community.“It’s so important to have partners that are not only here downtown, but that are outside of the area seeing the importance of investing in what is happening here,” she said. “Everything leads back to downtown because that’s where everything in Paducah started.”

Today, CFSB proudly serves the Paducah community through its McCracken Park Avenue Banking Center, McCracken Southside Banking Center, and three ATM locations, while continuing to invest in the people, businesses, and organizations that make Paducah a thriving place to live and work.

Paducah Main Street is grateful for CFSB’s partnership as a Platinum Sponsor and for its continued investment in the future of Downtown Paducah. Partnerships like these strengthen our community, support local businesses, and help ensure that Downtown Paducah remains a vibrant destination for generations to come.
