A new space dedicated to beauty, wellness, and personalized care has officially opened its doors in downtown Paducah. Located at 627 Broadway Street, Opal Rivers Spa & Wellness is bringing a unique experience to the area as the only full-service salon with individual private suites currently located downtown.
Offering services in hair, esthetics, nails, and spray tans, Opal Rivers was created as a welcoming space where clients can relax, recharge, and enjoy one-on-one care from their stylist. At the center of the business is Meredith, owner and visionary behind the new downtown business and face behind Opal Esthetics. As an esthetician, Meredith specializes in anti-aging treatments and hyperpigmentation solutions, helping clients feel confident in their skin through customized skincare services. She says their heart behind the business is simple: creating an environment where every client feels cared for. “We really focus on our clients’ happiness and making sure they’re relaxed, comfortable, and they have the best experience with us when they come in to an appointment.”
The spa also features a talented team of professionals, each bringing their own specialty to the shared space. Riley of Beauty by Ri specializes in hair color and extensions, offering personalized services for clients looking for everything from subtle refreshes to complete transformations.
For nail services, Carly of Polished by Carly specializes in luxury natural nail care, with a focus on structured gel and maintaining the long-term health of her client’s natural nails.
Michelle of Escamila Esthetics provides facials, body waxing, and brow and lash services, creating a wide range of beauty offerings focused on both skincare and self-care.
Together, the women behind Opal Rivers Spa & Wellness share a love for downtown Paducah and the continued growth of our small business community. They are excited to welcome both longtime locals and new clients into the space. The spa’s main operating hours are Tuesday through Friday from 9:00 am to 4:30 pm and Saturdays from 10:30 am to 4:00 pm, though each service provider also offers individual booking through their own platforms with individual appointment availability.
