Dive into the hidden world beneath the river’s surface. Campers will explore river ecosystems, discover fascinating aquatic animals, and meet one of nature’s most unique creatures: the axolotl. Through hands-on activities, kids will observe and study a live axolot up close, then compare and contrast its remarkable features with the native species that call our local rivers home. Along the way, they’ll learn how healthy river habitats support wildlife and what they can do to help protect these important ecosystems.
