Join Paducah’s sommelier Nick Weeks for April’s Sunday Sips this Sunday, the 26th at 2p!
In the world of wine, nothing is permanent…vintages change from year to year, presenting new and unforeseen challenges. While that can be said for much of life, it does mean that April Sunday Sips has received a last-minute change of theme. Originally planned around the Northern Rhône wine region of France, we are now shifting to the first installment of our “Monovarietal” series, where we explore a single grape through its many expressions across different regions of the world.
This Sunday, the 26th, we will focus on the grape “Syrah,” also known as “Shiraz.” We’ll look at a brief history of its origins, highlight some featured producers, and of course taste through the often wide range of differences in style.
