One year ago in April, a vibrant and creative space found its home on Broadway Street. Located at 313 Broadway, Gallerie is a unique beauty parlor blending modern services with artistic expression in the heart of Downtown Paducah.

Owner Jessica Rumsey, a Paducah native, chose Downtown Paducah for its culture and deep-rooted history. She saw an opportunity to create something that both reflects and adds to the character of the community. Jessica envisioned a space that showcases what the area is known for, its thriving art scene.
“I want people to feel inspired when they come inside,” she shared. Beyond the aesthetic, Jessica says her favorite part of Gallerie is the sense of community that has grown between her and her clients, the other stylists, and all other salon visitors. At its core, Gallerie was created to be more than a beauty parlor, it’s a space where women can feel connected, supported, and a part of something special.
Gallerie offers a wide range of services, including elaborate nail art, facials, hair styling, and more. The space is home to four talented artists, each bringing their own specialties and passion to the parlor.

Owner and Licensed Esthetician, Jessica Rumsey is the face behind @pharmaciebyjessica. She offers a variety of services ranging from results-driven facials and lash lifts to personalized makeup consultations. Jessica has created an elevated, welcoming environment that prioritizes both client experience and artistic collaboration at Gallerie.
Lane Anderson, known for her work under @thepaintedladyyy, specializes in detailed gel manicures and custom nail art. Each set is uniquely designed, turning nails into miniature works of art.
Kayla Aldridge, the esthetician behind @hydro.glow.esthetics, provides skincare services focused on helping clients achieve a healthy, radiant glow through intentional and customized treatments.
Ally Hines with @artistryby.ally is the resident cosmetologist at Gallerie, offering hair services, nails, and pedicures, making her a go-to for a full refresh all in one place. Ally’s favorite service is hair, where she makes a connection between her love for art and her work behind the chair.
“There’s something similar in the way you envision it (styling hair) that is similar to painting,” she explainsed She also values how personal her work is, from different hair types to differing goals, Ally enjoys the process of working with her clients start to finish.
One of Ally’s favorite parts of being located in Downtown Paducah is the strong connection to the local arts community. “The art is really important to me. I was really artistic growing up, we all were here at Gallerie. It’s one of those things where what we’re doing isn’t just hair or nails, we get to be a part of a community of artists,” she shared.

Beyond its services, Gallerie is known for its intentional integration of local art throughout the space. Each of the stylists at Gallerie draws inspiration from their creative roots, and their appreciation for the arts is reflected not only in their work, but in the environment they have cultivated. The parlor serves as both a beauty destination and a celebration of Downtown Paducah’s vibrant and historical artistic culture.

Gallerie will celebrate its 1st birthday with an open house on Saturday, April 11th from 5:00 to 7:00 PM. Guests are invited to stop by, enjoy refreshments, meet each of the artists, explore the space, and view the local artwork currently on display. The evening will also include giveaways and an opportunity to experience the welcoming atmosphere that has made Gallerie a standout in the downtown community.
We are grateful to have Gallerie as part of Downtown Paducah and proud to celebrate this milestone alongside them. Congratulations to the team on a successful first year and we look forward to seeing what’s ahead!
