Partners in Paducah with FNB Bank

Paducah Main Street is proud to introduce a new series, Partners in Paducah, highlighting the organizations and businesses that have partnered with Paducah Main Street due to their shared vision — supporting the growth, preservation, and continued success of Downtown Paducah.

We are kicking off this series with Paducah Main Street’s 2026 Presenting Sponsor, FNB Bank (FNB). FNB’s McCracken County Market President Ike Nichols shared more of the corporation’s history and mission.

FNB Bank is Paducah Main Street's 2026 Presenting Sponsor. They are the first feature in Partners in Paducah, where McCracken County Market President Ike Nichols discusses FNB's history and investment in downtown Paducah.

With a history dating back to 1875, FNB has long been rooted in Western Kentucky. Originally founded in the neighboring town of Mayfield as the First National Bank of Mayfield, the institution has grown alongside the region for more than 150 years. What began with a vision for community-centered banking has expanded into multiple counties, including Paducah, while maintaining its commitment to being locally owned and locally operated.

FNB’s connection to Paducah is not new. From its earliest days, shareholders from Paducah chose to invest in FNB, helping shape the bank’s foundation and long-standing presence in the region. Today, that relationship continues through a focus on serving individuals, families, and small businesses with a wide range of financial products designed to support long-term growth and success in our area.

As a community bank, FNB prioritizes relationships. Whether working with local entrepreneurs or individuals building their future, the bank’s mission remains the same, to be a trusted financial partner while delivering a noticeably better customer experience.

For Ike Nichols, that same sense of connection is what makes Downtown Paducah so special. “There’s so much to offer, so many good quality restaurants to choose from,” he shared. “It’s a great experience every time.”

That energy is one of the reasons FNB chose to partner with Paducah Main Street. Paducah Main Street’s mission to revitalize, preserve, and create momentum downtown aligns closely with FNB’s own values. By investing in this partnership, FNB is helping support not only the businesses that call downtown home today, but also those that will shape its future.

Looking ahead, Ike sees continued growth and opportunity for Downtown Paducah. He envisions existing businesses thriving while new local businesses find their place in downtown storefronts, further strengthening the economic vitality of Downtown Paducah.

FNB’s partnership has also been instrumental in the creation of downtown’s newest and largest summer event. FNB’s Fridays After Five will bring live music, energy, and community together along the riverfront throughout the summer months, supporting local businesses and entrepreneurs.

FNB proudly serves the Paducah community at two convenient locations: Midtown Paducah at 130 Lone Oak Road, Suite 101, and Lone Oak at 3445 Lone Oak Road.

Paducah Main Street is so grateful for FNB’s partnership as a Presenting Sponsor and for their continued investment in the heart of our community. Partnerships like this make a lasting impact, and we are proud to work alongside FNB to build a strong and thriving Downtown Paducah.
